Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Rear Air Helper Springs Installation - 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 airbags for the rear axle on a 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty. So we're out on our test course. We're gonna hit some bumps, and we don't have any weight in the bed. We have a fifth wheel in there, and normally we load that up with 1,500 pounds or so, and you can really notice a difference, but you're not always gonna have a load in your truck. So we're gonna drive it around just to see how it feels under normal driving, and a lotta times, people say airbags are rough, and I don't know if that's necessarily the word. It's definitely a firm ride, but the ability to adjust that on the fly is really nice by letting pressure out so you can get a nice comfortable ride, and I think the thing is is a firm ride is not a bad thing when you have a trailer or a camper or anything, even just dirt or something in the back, because being able to get your steering response back is gonna make towing just a lot better. more

Even though these trucks are super heavy-duty, when you start really loading up a bunch of weight on them, you're still going to run into some, not necessarily problems, but you can find some room for improvement. Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Firestone Ride-Rite Extreme Duty air helper springs for the rear on a 2013 Ford F-350 Super Duty. And the goal of air bags is to maintain our factory ride height even when it's loaded up. So I've gone ahead and measured from the ground to the top of the wheel wells. And in the rear of our truck, we have 43 1/2 inches and the front is gonna be 42 1/2. more

We're gonna take a measure of original ride height from the edge of the fender here, down to the ground. And then once we get that, we'll put some weight in the back. SuperSprings SuperSway Stops Installation - 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford F-350 we're gonna be taking a look at the SuperSprings SuperSway Stops. What the SuperSway Stops does is, it lowers this little point to where we're gonna activate our overload springs a lot sooner. As you can see, it's definitely a lot bigger than the one that came on here from the factory, so this is just an easy way just to kind of keep your suspension all working together 'cause before I didn't really have a whole lot of weight on here and my overload springs weren't getting activated. Like it literally wasn't. So, this is just going to do a lot of different things for your ride quality. One, it's gonna help prevent purposing which what that is, whenever you're going down the road and you hit like a speed bump or something, it feels like you're in the back of a bus where you're kind of just sitting there like this and your truck takes a little bit of time to kind of correct. more

Air bags are gonna be designed to help you when you're hauling something. Even with a truck this size, that's made for hauling heavy loads, if you're putting something heavy on the back that's getting close to the weight capacity that truck can handle, the back of it's gonna sag. When the back of it sags, the trailer that you're pulling, the nose is gonna come down. more

TorkLift StableLoad Rear Suspension Upgrade Installation - 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Hi there, Super Duty owners. Today in your 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Torklift's StableLoad Suspension Enhancement System. These are available with either a black powder coat finish or stainless steel, and there are two different kits available, depending if you need to drill holes in your overload springs, or if you have preexisting holes in your overload springs. You can use our fit guide to help you determine the appropriate kit to get. But it's always a good measure to just double-check your overload springs and looks for holes.You can see here where our bolt runs down through our overload spring, this is where you're going to want to look to see if you have a hole there or not. If there's no hole, you'll need the kit that comes with a couple of drill bits. more

We're using the stainless steel StableLoad system today. You can also purchase these in the black powder coat finish to help blend in with your truck suspension. In addition to coming in either stainless steel or black powder coat finish, there's also two separate kits available, depending on the model of your truck. You'll want to use our fit guide to determine the appropriate one for your truck. The kit that we installed today is the No-Drill Kit. more

Speaker: Today, on our 2016 Ford F250 super duty, we're going to be installing airlifts ultimate air helper springs, part number AL88396. These here helper springs are going to offer up to 5,000 pounds of carrying capacity. Now, this doesn't increase the load carrying capacity of your vehicle, it just supports it. So, when you've got a heavy load in the back, it will help you maintain proper ride height. This proper ride height will restore handling that was lost because of the geometry of your suspension being different than what it was before. It'll help return your headlights down to center instead of being pointed up in the air. more

Today on our 2105 Ford F-350, we're going to show you how to install the air lift LoadLifter 5,000 ultimate air helper springs with internal jounce bumpers. These are going to be for the rear axle. Part number is AL888396. The first thing we're going to do is get a couple measurements for comparison. We're going to get the inside top edge of both the front and the rear fender, here. Looks like in the rear, going to have about 35 3/4. On the front we're about 39 3/4. more

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Installation - 2016 Ford F-350- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford F350 we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. These air bags are double convoluted and they're designed for the rear axle. Part number is F2535. By allowing our air bags to take some of that weight off the rear suspension of the truck it's going to increase the longevity that we'll get out of our leaf springs and also reduces friction. This is also going to soften the contact between the axle and the frame so even with heavy loads we're not going to have to worry about bottoming out. Here you can see the included bracket. That's going to hold both our inflation valves in place for us up here in safe location that we won't have to worry about them ever getting snagged. The added benefit that we get from the dual inflation valve is side to side load leveling. more

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Installation - 2015 Ford F-350- Video
Speaker: Today on our 2015 Ford F350 we'll be taking a look at and installing the Firestone air helper spring kit, part number F2535. As you can see here we've got our parts laid out so you can kind of see what you're going to get in your kit. You're going to have your passenger side over here as well as that deflector for your exhaust, your air hose assembly kit on the back side, then over here we're going to have our driver's side, which is going to be a little bit different than the mounting for the upper bracket than the passenger side. You're going to have your lower bracket assembly here, which will go around your John's stop and then this strap here will go around the axle. Other parts in the kit are going to be those airbags. The double convoluted bag is going to allow you to hang your axle from it if you needed to, which is going to be way different than anything else on the market. You'll notice that all the parts are numbered, as well, and that should all be pointed out in your instruction manual that's included. Let's go ahead and see how our truck sits before we get our installation underway. Now we'll go ahead and get our measurement with our stock suspension just to see how far it is and what the weight difference makes. It's going to be about 43 3/4 inches. Let's go ahead and add some weight. more
